Interesting Old Holster

I am perplexed somewhat on how it fastens. I see the leather keeper but no buckle or holes.  ???

Fox Creek Kid, if you have access to the book Packing Iron look on page 62 I think you will have the answer. If it is the type of belt I think it is. On the left side of the belt where the billet would be, there is a billet however it is on the inside of the belt. Where the keepr is there is actualy a small buckle there however it is hidden by the belt. When it is properly buckled the left side of the belt would be threded through the keeper hiding the buckle and billet. Hope that is semi clear.

All in all, this is a VERY cool rig and not something seen everyday.
