Water's getting hot again, for any of you that have been out sitting in a tree(like I was)All I saw was some white flags waving at me, but somebody must have been seeing deer, sounded like Custer's last Stand about 6:30-7AM. Weather is 61 degrees now, and as usual for opening day, the wind has arrived, 15-25mph gusts. Always seems to be like that exactly when the season starts.
Deer gun season starts next Saturday here. You reminded me I need to get my hunting license.

Surprisingly quite around here for being rifle opener today.  Even over at the local trap and skeet range today is quite. I think they have a event going today I think couple of the Robinson's from Duck Commander suppose to be there. I weren't invited

Morn' y'all.  Pony expess;  Yer' lucky to have a deer season in a good part of the year.  Deer season is already wrapped up here as of last month.

Just finished Forty Rod's books, both of them in three days.  Some extra reason to get back workin' on writing mine.  Goin' out after squirrels this afternoon, tryin' to get some stew.  :)

Evenin' all ;)

Been busy most the day. Put new air filter in the Hamster-mobile, then cleaned up the yard and did the leaves. Also put a pot of chili on for supper.. Must've been good, hardly any left overs. The girls actually had seconds. Used 2lbs. of ground beef this time. Wife got a deal on some at work, brought home 30lbs. of it in 1lb. packages. Fairly lean, too. ::)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Major 2,

I was standing in the back yard, with my mother, watching Challenger go up, when it blew up.
We could do that in those days and "we" had been watching them "go up" since 1967.
Such a common place thing for the time period in this area... many hardly took notice something had gone wrong
Amazing when one thinks about it!

I had many other very close experience with the Space launches.
Including meeting various Astronauts.

I was working for a Treasure Salvage crew off the coast of Florida when Apollo 11 was launched.
Three days later I went to visit my girl friend at her house to watch the moon landing... and fell asleep on the sofa !!!
Who would have thought such a thing could or would have happened after working a 16 to 18 hour day?
My best,

The water is is thick and black, I'll put on another pot.  Started on a meat cleaver last night, don't really need it but can be fun to scare tourists.
