Well, my daughter sets us up with Vacuum Salesperson , Rainbow something or other....

It's impressive you see all the dirt my wife missed in her clean up today before she came...

The hard sell , course the bottom line... $3100.00 - $600.00 off if you buy it tonight   ::) we didn't...

I got to tell you though, the thing does do a job.... but I don't want any debt ...I'm Credit Card free and plan to stay that way.

Any good vacuum will pull up more dirt if you work at it, Rainbow is a long running pyramid thingy.  Known a lot of Rainbow salesman over the years, never knew one to make any money or stick with it.

I have one of those Rainbows on the bench in the garage right now, belongs to one of my D-I-Ls, and she loves that thing.  Problem is the motor in the power brush went out, and trying to get the right replacement is like finding a toothpick in a tree trimmers chip truck, not to mention somewhat costly - a motor the size of my fist is going to cost somewhere between sixty and a hunnert bucks, and my labor is free.

saw the pyramid thingy right off... Good looking wool though  :P showed up in a Mercedes SXV... I'm guessing a lease.

All the tricks , put a little filter in the hose and in about 5 passes over the same spot , showed us the dust...
Then tells you its 80% dead skin and feeding dust mites.
Beat up some of Kirby ( another traveling dog & pony show ) and Dyson.
Stuck a couch cushion in plastic bag and sucked all the air out of it, flattened it and squeeze it to about 1/3 its normal size.
Even tried the recruiter bit on the wife ..had write down 10 contacts and if any 2 book a demo...
We get a Hotel stay some weekend, somewhere.  :-\  or we get Rainbow air purifier, $160 value ( for bowl of water with fan in the lid w/ a little bottle of some kinda sweet smelly stuff ...comes your choice of flavors  )  also free if buy the Vacuum.

Pushed the buy now (tonight) save $600 routine  ...even extended it through 12 hours if we want to think some on it...

Mornin'.

Rainbow vacuum, huh? That sucks.....

We suffered thru Kirby sales calls when we were newlyweds, then again when we bought the first house. Managed ta avoid the personal visits. Thinkin' they were 'round $700.00 back then or about a month's pay for the two of us.

Got housewife stuff ta do. Said yesterday was pretty 'n a nice day ta be outside. This'n was supposed ta be not so nice so I'd do inside stuff taday. It's taday. Other'n dumpin' all the fixin's for chicken noodle soup for the evenin' in the l'il red one I don't wanna do any of it. Rats........

Hope o'er the next hour or so I can come up with a compellin' reason ta get outta here for awhile.

Damn...............

I don't even know how ya do that. Traffic's too slow there. Flip it o'er on its wheels, drive it a block 'n yer at Bob's Gun Shop, my home away from home.

That's right in front of the federal court buildin' where they try the Somali pirates we're stupid 'nuff ta bring on American soil rather'n disarm, disable 'n leave adrift or sink for navigational safety.

Buildin' on the right is the paper's. Momma werked there for 42 years.

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. It looks like the Escape will turn over rather easily. I don't fit in those small vehicles. I am able to fit into full-size pickups and SUVs. It is supposed to get down to 29 tonight. The high for today will be in the low 60s.

Speakin' of Vacuum Cleaner salesman, went to look over the ones want to join the dutch oven group, one was a self employed musician and a Kirby Vacuum Cleaner salesman, just pushed the ignore button, seemed to make sense.

Should have saved his name, coulda sent im on a house call ta the self proclaimed milf what didn't get in either.

Rotary Club auction some years back I ended up winnin a full check up an consutation from a local dentist.  Thought that was neat so I called ta make ma appointment an got the run around from the receptionist.  Didn't cotton ta the fact that I wasn't already a patient an wanted a guarantee I would book all the appointments ta fix whatever the doc found wrong.  I was a less patient man in those days an it about cost the lady her job an the dentist his standin with the Rotarians.  Kinda feel like a heel lookin back, ma winnin bid was one U.S. dollar.

Well, I'm a bit late for coffee, but thanks anyway.  Trip to the big city again today.  Talking about Kinetic laws, and the such at Chemistry class.  Have English class at the community college, and community band practice after that.  sigh......

Howdy gang,
Been MIA for a spell, had a bunch on my plate lately.... Sorry for any worry

Got my cousin 'ta buy a Rainbow vac some 38 yrs. ago & she still used it twice a week as of 9yrs. ago !! She cussed me a "blue streak" after the guy sold us but she thanked me 20 yrs. later when it gave her no problems 'cept a hose or somethin'. Figure the motor by now went kaput...don't keep in touch anymore. EP, that's a whole lot cheaper than the crap they sell nowadays. Electrolux was 'nother good brand & a canister model.

Had to put my kitty to sleep Sat. afternoon we all know how attached we get to those critters.....Her health as of late had me concerned & knew it was inevitable.
Worked a hoard of OT the past month, didn't get a permanent job with Amazon due to some crappy confuser assessment test I was told....common sense is lost an' will never be found in this day & age I fear. I did get a $1 hr. raise to coach "newbies" but I will ultimately be unemployed come Feb. We'll be busier than I wanna be, but this too will pass.

Got some pan fried cod ( in olive oil) with Panko breading, tater tots & steamed broccoli on the fire now.

My condolences, Miz Letty. They always take a piece of you with them. Gotta take our long coat to the vet late tomorrow, seems she's got a bad tooth or something. Right side of her muzzle is swollen and painful. Poor little thing can't tell you when something's wrong, and when you try to check it she yells and goes to hide ::) :-\
