Gonna go do my part in tryin' ta keep another carpetbagger out of Virginia politics. Thinkin' it's gonna be a waste of time but maybe it'll help duh beach, once again, be an example of free thinkin', liberty lovin' people surrounded by O'Bama votin' cities of the easily led.

Sad ta watch the commonwealth go the way of the country. Good hard workin' folks burdened by fools from the heavily populated areas.

I did do my part and The republican candidates team was passing out cookies outside so it was good for me.

The local State Representative (D) was running unopposed, I wrote my name in and voted for myself

We don't vote till next year. A while back we voted in term limits to get rid of one jackass who couldn't loose his district in the state legislature - now it's come back to bite me in the arse - I really like my state rep, but he's out of terms.

nothing to vote on in my part of the county. Only thing around here was a tax increase for Mid County fire district, and I'm not in mid county, I'm off in the corner where they forget we're here.

I still like the term limits though, yeah we lose a good one now and then but it serves notice, on to Washington, a movement that should be everywhere.

I still have mixed feelings about term limits - I would prefer to be able to vote for the best candidate, no matter how long he's been in office.  On the other hand, too many idiots vote for the incumbent just because they've been in office so long

The good news is that my guy will get back in after his "time out" - the bad news is the shit stirring bigot is already back.

I'm taking few days vacation, not going anywhere special just some needed R&R.

I needed to draw it by EOY or it won't roll over like PTO does... I'll hold a couple a days back for some R&R in Dec.
and call it year 

Had some Dunkin Donuts coffee this morning , that's not bad stuff for Restaurant coffee....
also had one of those chock-let donuts with  sprinkles on top ....
Overall this is shaping up into a nice day

We didn't have much to vote on yesterday. Only hot button was a school levy for this area that had been hotly discussed for the last several years. Last time it lost by about 24 votes or so, this time it passed. A new  high school will be built to replace the old one that has been a repair issue for some time. Arcey, sorry about the Gov.'s race, you got another Obama-crat now

Yeah, we did, Buck. But I got somethin' of what I wanted. Duh beach didn't go for the carpetbagger and former Lincoln Bedroom rental agent/Hillary Clinton campaign chair. We stood apart from the surroundin' cities of O'Bama voters. What's nice 'bout that is our dear mayor endorsed the winner.

This new govenor's gonna face difficult times with some of the ideas the democrats told him he liked. The house is still held by the lessers-of-two-evils. Neighbor from 'round the corner, a good guy, held the 85th long's I can remember, done retired. Neighbor from 'round the other corner, 'n a bad choice for the producers, wanted ta take his place. He won't be. We gotta lesser-of-two from another hood 'cross the road.

Lost one of only two city council folks what halfway looked after the producers' interests. He'll be goin' ta the state house. Be interestin' to see who gets appointed to fill in. Last one was appointed/supported by the mayor for the spot 'n we said no.

The weather is better than yesterday. The rain has stopped for a couple of days.

Never ate a Kim Chee. Other that being made from a different plant, how does it differ from saur kraut?

Looks like we live in completely different climate zones on the two ends of Newbrasky.  We got our first taste of winter already. Rained Monday night then snowed all day on Tuesday, then cleared off & got down to 12 degrees Tuesday night.  Warmed up to th 30s yesterday so the roads got good & muddy.  Nobody's garden is still green around these parts.
