Head to the dump, been doing that more frequently this past couple of weeks.  Post Office and maybe stop and get some breakfast some wheres.

'Tis 28 and overcast. 5/8" of white on the deck. "Mostly cloudy with light snow in the morning...then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Little or no snow accumulation. Highs in the lower 30s. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 90 percent."

I got out and ran some errands, the temp is 34. It is misting rain, just enough to keep the wipers on. The weather is going to be nasty all week and Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Got out and gun tested the new HRA Henry CAS style Wednesday and Some distance shooting Thursday.
Threatened to rain all day Wed with a mist of and on,  then the bottom fell out  as I was packing home Wed.
Rained all day Thur. at the Covered range for the distance stuff....

Gun test will be in the Winter issue of the Shootist

Yes, we had a lot of rain over the past two days. Hard rain too!
You and I are about 100 miles apart (?) but the conditions over that distance can be very different.
Today, has been very nice in my area.

Someone in my DO cooking group asked for a carrot cake recipe yesterday, since I don't care for it, I don't make it, but found her an 1827 French recipe, a 1850 English one, and the earliest American one know dates to 1850, learned the quick history of it, dates to the Middle Ages and carrots being the sweetest vegtable at the time and a connection to Adolf Hitler even.

Cube steak with a tomato gravy, 'schrooms & sauteed onions. Will happen on Sunday when I'm off.

We've got a new Christmas themed attraction opening up in Medina this evening. Called Castle Noel, has a lot of Christmas themed movie stuff, including the RV from Natl' Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, stuff from Jim Carry's Grinch, and a reproduction of the Christmas Story's Santa's mountain and slide.
