Sorry to hear about your loss Miss Letty. The healing continues but the medicine still make me sick. Today is a sick day so I'm styling home. Prob'ly would have been better to stay home Monday, might feel better by today, but I'm stubborn that way.

Think I'll pass on the coffee this morning. Did get a couple click berries down & half a cup if hot chocolate. Gonna work on drinking enough water today.

You all try to have a good day.

Ran inta an ole gal yesterday. Complained she was freezin'. She was wearin' a sweat shirt with 'Minnesota' printed on it. Tolt 'er if she was from there it should feel sunny 'n seventy sumthin' ta her. She tolt me the humidity was unbearable to 'er 'n she didn't feel as cold at zero at home. Oh well........

Got OFSDAR prep ta do. Think the 14's clean already but I do need ta get the equipment basket back in the station wagon.

Sorry about the cat, Miz Letty.

So sorry to hear my friend.

OK, litle brother needed some 270's and he don't want to do bottlenecks till I go over it with him, good idea, BTW I got the case out of the die.   ;D

New bench performed OK, it would do, but I need to fine tune it a bit, need a little taller stool. Need to lay things out a little better, I think I'm going to build a small shelf for the scale on the wall to the right.   When done I will like it better than the one I used for 20 years, was an old oak teachers type desk and it didn't survive the last move.  Got the winter to fine tune, gonna take some time this spring and do some shooting.  Thinking a trip for sod poodles is in order.

Back, gonna have coffee and head for my hole.  Two hour trip into the interior, I know why I stay on the outer edge as much as possible.   ::)   Saw something that can't be unseen at a bus stop, looked like 40 acres of buffalo grass, if he'd of taken the shirt off instead of just not tucking it in there would have been a quarter section.  :P

Got a Luddite project this afternoon, will take pictures.

There, they need a soak in Coke, but a nice pile of brand new un-plated wood screws with straight heads.

And a pile of cut nails, need the same treatment but my soaking pan is full of knives right now.  Winter project to rehab about 2 dozen knives.

Some people drink the stuff also.  Always keep a 2 liter bottle of coke in the workshop for rust/bluing removal and a bottle of Canola oil for wood finish.  The Canola oil is the best oil to use on wooden knife handles, better than linseed oil except it takes a bit longer to dry.

Don't know how many times I've bout how all the CHP carry five gallons of coke in the trunk to wash blood offa pavement.  Never bothered askin, usually a more pressin issue at hand.

Went an played with trees taday.  Had ta play with blackberry first cause it lived where we was ta throw all the limbs an branches for pickup in the tractor.  I like blackberry pie an cobbler an all but it wouldn't break ma heart ta have ta find a replacement if'n all the brambles disappeared from the earth all a sudden like.  They's one a them jokes in nature...the only animal that ever gets tangled up in em is people.  The deer don't mind em a bit an walk right through em munchin all the way.

Got some ribs here but they's gonna wait for the crock tamarra, figger best used that way.  Lil's gonna do some noodle thing tanight.

30 with a WC of 16 at the moment :-\

Our dog had some pretty bad plack on her teeth, Vet had to put her out to clean'em, not sure if she's gonna lose the tooth or not, put her on anti-biotics for the moment. She sure was out of it for a while after we got home, did a lot of moaning and drooling. Soaked Sandy's shirt pretty good. ::)
