Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. I worked in feed lots in the winter in the Panhandle of Texas and Oklahoma while I attended College up there. The temps were plenty cold enough for me back then. I know it will much colder in Montana. Don't be a stranger, keep in touch. You will be missed, my friend.

Tex I will have internet access there. Might be a week or two before I get it set up.

I have the temperatures running on my computer screen. With several places around the world- as you can see it is warmer there

I have endured some really cold days there, but I have had equally as cold in other locations North Dakota might been the coldest
I don't think I will be working the pens in the feed lots anymore

Me neither. I was young and skinny back then and did not know any better.

Mornin'. It's colder here than in Hamilton, Montana this morning. I've lived all over this country, from coast to coast & desert to mountains, & have never known the climate to be the deciding factor as to how much I enjoyed living there. Montana has a lot to offer that far outweigh a little cold weather.

I got on the Facebook a couple days ago & already have 5 friends.  Can't believe I lived this long without ever having a friend before. According to Facebook I'm still a looser though I I can't collect up at least nine more friends  ::). I signed up so I could get on a local gun swap page that I had been looking at on the Wife's Facebook. One of my new "friends" is a. Tattoo artist who I've never met before & lives 20 miles away - he's going to bring out a pistol today that I might trade a rifle for maybe.

Having some hot chocolate. Trying to decide what's fer breakfast.

I've steered clear so far from the Facebook frenzy ...Oh ! I've been invited...
My wife & daughter fool with it.... but naugh, not for me.

I'll pass on Craig's list too,  though I sometimes peruse E Bay and Gun Broker.

I was selling a Featherlite LQ Horse Trailer some years back, advertised it in several Horse man periodicals
had guy in the Cayman Islands wanting to buy it  ::)

He'd send a Check for full amount + some extra , and have his agent set up the shipping ...I was to cash the Check and send the extra
in cash to the agent .
I told him " send a Cashiers Check  for the correct amount to me , and another to his agent ".... never heard from him again.  :o

I sold the trailer locally....  ;)

Stu, if you go look now, you belong to a dutch oven cooking group also.  I think you will like it, I kida got handed it a while back and got some good folks to help me and kinda moulded it in my own image to a point.  You can opt out if you want, but stop by, I think you like us.  Got some yuppie cooking types over there, but it's kinda fun to help them out.  A fun bunch of regulars.

Nope, but heard about stuff like that more than once, sometimes it's bongs and random drug tests you hear about.  LOL, some of it is just to good to have been made up.

I'll check it out, sounds like my kind of thing.

The main reason I've avoided Facebook is because a lot of teachers (including a couple I know personally) have lost their jobs over stupid crap that they or their "friends" have posted on Facebook.

The good news is, while Steve is a school teacher, Stu is not. Stu won't be friending anyone who doesn't know him as Stu.

Delmonico

You are not the only one that way.  If you see some gal named Jane Jones racking my over to coals sometime it is not really a tanager girl who lives in Death Valley or where ever this week, LOL, I'll explain "Jane" on the phone sometime, long story but I swear Jane could reach through your monitor and grab you if he/she wanted to.  One of the good ones though, Jane uses the talents for good, not evil.

Oh yeah that will be a new adventure again. I guess it not often a man make the same change twice, a generation apart.

Thanks again for your insights

More Cawffee is necessary to aid in my waking up this morning. It is cloudy and cool around here today.
