Never ate a Kim Chee. Other that being made from a different plant, how does it differ from saur kraut?

Tends not to be as sour, has most times some ginger, green onions and a bit of red pepper in it.  I've thought about making it for the muster, but even in an ice chest it don't travel well, back when I used to buy it I didn't wait one day after the trip to the store. and got it on the ceiling. ;D

It is sunny and about 60 outside. I had some oatmeal and toast for breakfast this morning. We got a big college game in Waco tonight, the Baylor Bears are hosting the Sooners from OU.  I am hoping for a big victory for the Bears tonight. They have scored a lot points this year, but their opposition has not been much. I think that OU will be a good test for them and a measuring stick on how far they have come this year.

Message to Major E.A. Sterner. In coming!

I know I ain't as strikingly handsome as I once was. Got hair all o'er my shoulders 'n a big, droopy 'stache. Did shave the rest of the face this mornin' in the shower. Teeth all brushed 'n used Listerine. Even used deodorant in places.

Go in the range 'n run a target (an IDPA) down like the target in the next lane o'er. Early thirties sumthin' dude with his chicky babe shootin' next door. I can't get twenty rounds downrange 'fore he pulls the target in 'n leaves. Don't know why. Judgin' from the target he could use the reps. Third er fourth time this has happened. .....

Maybe the Maj is right. It's all Slim's fault.

On the trip I saw a 99 year old tall ship, The Statsraad Lehmkuhl, parked downtown near the Wisconsin. 'Bout a pretty thing. Couldn't get a good camera angle on it. Metered parkin' spots were open nearby but I didn't wanna leave the station wagon outta site with three firearms 'n ammo in it.

Temps are dropping here, 41 now with a WC of 39.

Started messing with my HO track today, almost have it figured out. Just need a few shorter pieces to get the circuit completed. Got about four too many straights yesterday when I picked up what I thought I needed. Circuit will go around the tree and then out into the living room, going under one end table and recliner and then back to the tree. Bachmann E-Z track makes running on carpet much easier ::)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Dumb-Ass-of-Yesterday award, east coast division, goes to a Va. Beach high school music teacher.

Work day. No kids in school, just the staff. Our recipient was sittin' in his mini van in the school's parkin' lot smokin' weed. Folks walkin' through were thinkin' there was a dead concert somewhere close 'n ratted to the cop assigned to the school.

BUSTED!

He was holdin' 'nuff ta tip the scales to intent. Also charged with possession/distribution on school property.

The recipient is forty years old, employee for thirteen years – I'm figgerin' somewhere between $45 'n $50K with all the benefits. Trashed it for a l'il smoke on his lunch break. Brilliant move in this economy 'n employment situation.

Prolly given an either/or letter 'n he chose to resign. Had to have voted for the carpetbagger on his way to school. Have a spit, Roo.

Perhaps he'll get in the Dumb-Ass Hall of Fame with another ex-teacher who last year was drinkin' vodka out of an Deer Park water bottle durin' class.

actually yeah

for the nose , Simply Saline   (a product of Arm & Hammer )
for your throat, gargle a pair if Bayer aspirin dissolved in about 1 oz. warm water and tea spoon of sugar...
or if you were over 21.... Rock & Rye   ( it would still help under 21 but it ain't legal for you to get )

and the stomach, Chicken Soup , or  (chicken stock ) Won Ton soup....

these work for me

Thanks for the coffee,LIT ;)

32 and sun here ::)

Got the circuit all done and ran the train for a bit last night to get the track cleaned off some. Total layout is somewhat bigger than 4X8. Will tear it down today to wait for the wife to put the tree up after Thanksgiving. Now all I need is the late 30's-early 40's Pennsy passenger cars to honor my Dad. He would've rode into town on one of those when he stopped to meet Mom when he got back stateside ::)
