We were up last night until she was able to call her parents and one of her sisters, they were all ok. Parents were staying outside of the house during all the aftershocks. Haven't heard from her other sister yet, but there's no electricity at all in the whole area, no way to charge cellphones now. Epicenter was less than about 15-20 miles from her hometown. All the roads are probably impassable, they weren't that great before. We always passed by this church on the way to her place it's about 10 miles or so away:

Glad to hear they're safe. I know this may sound callous, but buildings can be replaced. Lives can't

True, they can be replaced, although I'm not sure that one I linked to will. Fortunately for us, they report no serious damage to the house, either. It's a relatively new one, cement, and stood well. Most of the serious damage was in older buildings, like the Spanish period churches. Some of the older homes in the area were hard hit too, made before re-bar came into common use.
