what I got out of it was a group of re-enactors will be going to Gettysburg to cross the barriers that close off the park.

And I wish I could be there, still a maybe, hope it happens,

Better allow 3-4 hours extra in respect of The General! He kind of likes to travel at his own pace.

Last movie I went to see was Hunt for Red October. Read the book. The movie folks rewrote the ending. Rest well, Clancy.

Sorry to hear of a tornado. Just went to check on Karen. NOAA's site doesn't half work. Makes sense right in the middle of hurricane season. Of course, we've been told this would be the worst season ever. That prediction was, unfortunately, predictable. Same story year after year. And, they wonder why no one pays attention.

Morning y'all.
Thanks fer the coffee, Tom.

'Tis 55 and overcast. Rained overnight. "Cloudy. Scattered showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning...then showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the upper 60s. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent."

Thanks for the coffee,LIT ;)

64 and sun here. Possibility of T-storms later ::)

Guess the twisters are to be expected as vthe change in fall is about the same as the spring. Hope this one just tore up open land, Del.

Had an unexpected power outage this morning already, at least this thing cranked back up :-\
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Very late in the year for us, bigger by far than most this time of the year and hit about 21/2 hours after dark, also unusual for us.  Last report is no injuries so far, at least one house destroyed.  It was mostly in open country again.

Twisters Hurricanes T Storms and snow in Montana this morning

Stu Kettle

My favorite TV weatherman just happened to be in Lincoln during the storm.  He's from New Jersey & usually works in Atlanta but went with the sports guy to the N fer knowledge campus for some stupid sports thing they've started up recently.  Had to roll my eyes a bit when he pronounced Otoe County as "Otto" or was it "auto"?  Either way, not very much about the storm damage in the report.

Four-Eyed Buck

Correct is "O-Toe" isn't it, Del? ::) Stu? ::)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Stu Kettle

Yep. I'd think anyone would read it that way even if they hadn't heard it said out loud.

Delmonico

Yep, but hey, they let it go as I-oh-wa and forgot about I-oh-way being proper, my Ioway friends are not happy about that.  Then New-brass-key is Otoe for river in the flatland.

BTW Stu, do you know about the towns 6 miles apart with the same name, Newhaka and Weeping Water mean the same thing but one is Otoe and the other is English.
