I slept in this morning. We are having cool weather this morning. The temp is in the 40s. Colleen took Victoria to the Park this morning and she really enjoyed running at the Park in the cool weather.

Is there something missing from the forum?
I seem to remember something called the "Longbranch".
Anybody know what is up?

There's a great group of folks ('cept in one 'm) at the Longbranch.  They just tend to take things too serious and can't even get a good poker game going there.

Beef Stew on the menu for tonight. It sure smells good while it is simmering.

The people who want to argue politics started going there to do it when the politics place was shut down.  Anybody that ever been to a saloon ought to know better than to start an argument about politics or religion.

Had a nice roast beast for dinner. Now I'm sitting around "smoking" candy ciggarettes. Wife's sisters, brother & dad all showed up here to celebrate one sister's birthday - one of em brought some "Lucky Lights" as party favors. They taste the same as I remember, the package looks the same, except it doesn't say "ciggarettes" on it anywhere, & they don't have the red "lit" end.  Still kinda surprised that they are still made at all.

PC has made all the way to candy....   :-\

Local 8 year old has been suspended , his crime .... pointed his finger and going Band ,bang... seems he was playing cop & robbers at recess  ::)

Sorry all!
It must be my imagination.
The Longbranch and associated sections went missing on my computer just before I posted my request for input.
It is still missing from my computer screen.
Still looking for an explanation from anyone that might help?
My best,

I know 3-4 places to get candy cigs and bubble gum seegars here.  Can get Green River, Moxie and all those old good soda pops with real sugar in them also, we don't cotton much around here to the PC crap, we done run PETA out also, last I heard they had not been active here at all for over 12 years and their leader lady went to greener pastures.

Can get cap guns and caps at most any grocery store, know a western store that sells them also, lots of them. ;)
