I've asked before, but do any of you know if there is a Civil war Reenactment group north of Mariposa Ca.?  I remember about four years ago, a group did a weekend skirmish in Anderson Ca.  It was an artillery outfit on the north, with the Kentucky Sharpshooters, versus a Virginia artillery outfit and Texas Infantry.  I have no idea where they came from, but I am interested in in joining some reenactment group.  Does anybody know of a group in Shasta county ca.?

Try using your favorite search engine, and type in: 'Civil War Reenactment - California' - or some variation thereof, and you'll soon know.

Yippee!! I just did some more research on this, and I found www.racw.org .  It is a reenactment group in California, with a group in Redding.  A few weeks or months, and I'll be a member of the 1st Texas Infantry.  ;D
