Just wanted to let folks know who might be interested, we are currently working on a CAS Club here in San Angelo.  Me and a few gun shop owners & gunsmiths have been talkin' about it & are workin' out the details.  It appears as though the name will be "The Concho Valley Comancheros" or "The San Angelo Shootists".

We are currently working on the how to's & the rules as we see them.  We figure we will use a few from the SASS Guidelines & some from Western 3 Gun Guidelines.  Our main goal here is safety first, then everything else follows.  We will not be as strict on clothing & firearms.  There will also be a lot less catagories.  We want to have fun, enjoy the sport, friends & just plain good times.

I will post on this subject again as soon as I have more details for any who are interested.  Much obliged fer' your time! ;)

Pard, I wish you had moved to Angelo 5 years ago when I first moved there.  Now that I'ved moved out of state it doesn't matter, but I wish you all the luck and success in the world.  San Angelo and Fort Concho will always have a place in my heart for the 4 plus years I lived there.
