Just got an 1860 Carbine-want to know history!

Hi,new guy here to this forum. Iused to go by Mr. Chain Blue Lightnin' many moons ago at the SASS forums. I picked up an 1860 Carbine today,ser# 30224. Just wondered if the Gentleman here that has some info on Spencer carbine Civil War useage,could give me some info on this one. I will try to get some pics. It is all original with nice wood and metal. Thanks for any help. Shawn Hoague
