I just got a new pair of 45  Ruger Vaqueros Not sure if I like them so far I have big hands
and the grips seam small I have been shooting 60 rm conversions with the army grips .
Does anyone make oversize grips for the Ruger NMV or is it just a mater of not trying to
get all 3 fingers on the grip
These will be used in CAS

Today I ordered a set of Eagle Gunfighter grips for each of my New Vaquero Bisleys and I will make a note to let people know how they work for me.  It will be about ten days before they are sent to me though.

None of the aftermarket grips are "longer".  They have to fit the frame.  If you want grips like an 1860 you will have to get them custom made and put a filler piece on the bottom of the grip frame.  You can get ready made thicker grips, but you can't get ready made longer grips.

For the fellow that ordered Eagle Gunfighter grips you won't see any difference.  The New Vaquero Bisleys come from the factory with plastic Eagle Gunfighter grips.

Thanks Pettifogger
Im going to try shooting locking my little finger under the grip  so far that seams ok in practice
havnt used them in a match yet
If not ill look for custom grips maybe there is a market for them  LOL  ;D

the grips is the reason why i stayed with the old model vaqueros.
the old model vaqueros are same size as ruger old army and the old model blackhawks.
i have big hands and like them filled with wood and steel. i tried to use the gunfighter grips by eagle(i think) and they slimmed down the grip in the hand didnt work for me.

now i run hogue exotic wood checkered grips, little spendy but worth it.

I will finally be able to try my Gunfighter Eagle Grips.  They came in todays mail.  Only took a bit less than four months to get them.   ::)

Finally got to shoot my Bisleys with the new Gunfighter Grips.  It seemed to me that the revolvers fit a lot better in my hands and were not slippery.  Not only that is that I shoot better than I usually do.
