I am proud of our country for many reasons, and I'm kinda tickled that nowadays one of the big issues is the growing gap in the wealth held in this country, with so many wading in with recrimination and hate-speech fanning this divisive rift - and too often by Politicos or Reformers with their own agenda.  

Remember that it was basically the rich, landed upper crust that fomented rebellion and gave it its character and nobility in this country's fight and eventual winning of the birth of the United States of America.

Personally I think they did a good job, such that it has continued to carry us through just about any crisis or hardship that has been thrown at us as a nation.
