I am landing around 1130 am on Thursday. It will probably take about an hour to get away from the airport. I cannot check in at the motel till 3pm. I should up at the Convention Center by 4pm or so.

Shooting the match, too, but I will stay for the chili feed they've kindly offered. Gonna do the guided tour and dinner Friday night.

Mr. Irons is shooting the match also, but not sure of his dinner plans. Come to think about it, he more than likely will eat chili to wake up his appetite and follow that up with dinner. Then a light snack. ;)

Hmmm, I may have made an assumption, not base on the schedule  :-\

I'm planning to shoot too, I figured the match was morning to afternoon and the Chili was Lunch ?  :-\

I now note from their website,  "...  mandatory safety meeting starting at NOON and shooting
will commence upon conclusion."

Yeah, the shoot is an afternoon affair, lasting probably until supper time, depending on how many people attend the shoot.  That may well leave not much time for anything after.  We shall see.

I am not sure if we will attend the Chili supper.  In general, I am not a fan of what passes for chili North of the Canadian River.  ;)

Joe, Dumas happens to be north of the Canadian River and they make some real good chili!  I think that you should have said north of the Red River.

Books, If you or anyone would like to do a seminar please contact Lynch M Sag Two at reneesagaser@windstream.net

Cut off date for setting up seminars is March 1st.

We would also like to ask everyone to try and have their convention registration form in by March 15th. This is to allow the hotel and us enough time to plan for the dinner.

I meant the North Canadian that flows down from the Oklahoma Panhandle.   ;)

Hey there Cowboys and Cowgirls,

I just got off the phone after making my reservations with the Oasis Hotel for the NCOWS Convention. I used the number provided by Ricochet earlier in this thread (417) 866-5253 or (888) 532-4338. I was assisted by Andy. I received the $77.00 room rate and Andy told me that there were plenty of rooms still available. Hope this information helps.
