My first guns were a pair of 5.5 inch Vaqueros in 45 LC. I went through many after and never found any I liked as much. The balance is perfect for me. Same applied to my .45 lc Marlin 1894 rifle. Super sweet combo. I shot 160 and 150 grain bullets in Schofield brass so recoil was light. Never did like a shorter barrel in .357 0r .45. Now with 45 COwboy brass, even better.
I used to shoot Dualist. j
