That is a pure shame, the Dean's are really great to work with, very nice.  I hope their guy recovers quickly.

Understand it was Jerry Dean's son that was hurt. Know they can use our prayers. Tj

Talked to Jerry Dean tonight . He said his son has had 4 surgeries and has more on the way later . He is doing well BUT has a LONG way to go .

I am glad to hear he is on the road to recovery. I have spent a LOT of money with Powder INC over the years and I was deeply saddened to hear of the explosion.

Site now says they do not foresee resuming Black dawge ammo operations.

Did anyone say what caused the explosion. Was it during the loading of cartridges?

It was in that area as they indicated they lost equipment for loading and stock.

They were loading blanks  that CMSA use . And the Black Dawge cartridges are a think of the past . Keep Jerry's son in your prayers he has a long way to go and 2 small children .
