Here is my latest finished project I did for a friend.

Pappy,

Small knives of various sizes and shapes have been very popular for a long time throughout history.
How to carry them and still keep them accessible to the user have a major issue going back to the age of stone age tool making.
Just a suggestion on my part... don't over think the situation or make it too complex.
Scottish Dirks and their small accessory tools are a good example from a more modern European time period based on and with the 1745 Rebellion.
