Probably a dumb question

Pietta and Ubertis,can these all be set up with the same type of nipple so you can use the same caps for all?

You should be able to use the same caps, but there can always be dimensional difference from one gun to another, even the same make, model, etc. Just have to try each one and see how they work.  BTW, nipples refer to a portion of anatomy not discussed in mixed company. Those are cones. This is the 1870's, isn't it?

GCR, I don't think you're gonna get the 2 on the right to use the same caps as the ones on the left.......

Stick Tresos in all of them and they will all use Remington #10s.

The one with the conversion has another cylinder,the 38 has to use black powder catchruges,
and now i know what that old broad i took home years ago meant,she kept wanting to show me her cones

You may also want to give a hard look at the new "Slixshot" cones.  They are manufacturer specific (Uberti vis Pietta)
but once installed Remmington #10s will work perfectly.  The advantage with Slixshot cones is the ability to set your guns up with reduced power main springs.
I just set up a pair of Piettas with Slixshot cones and reduced mains and they work a treat.  So far I haven't bothered to fill in the safety notch in the hammer and am having NO problems with the caps.
