Cuzzin Jack

I have an unknown (question on board) 51 navy 36 and a 62 Uberti pocket navy. Does that qualify me for STORM? If so, sign me up! Thanks,                                                                                                                                                                                         Cuzzin Jack

Howdy,

Sign me up.  ;D

I just shoot my first match with my new 1872 Open Tops.  ;D  ;D I have been shooting Rugers since I started this game but now they just became  my backups. I shoot Gunfighter class and the Open Tops point so much more natural. Don't get me wrong, I still like my Rugers but I really love these Open Tops.

Please sign me up.  In the last year I acquired several BP revolver repros (1846 Walker, 1849 Wells Fargo, 1851 Navy, 1860 Army, 1961 Navy, and 1862 Pocket Police).  Except for the 1861 Navy, which I got over 10 years ago (branded as Replica Arms but I don't know which Italian company made it) I have R&D cylinders for each gun.  Due to some health issues I haven't been out to the range in a long while, but once I'm recovered I plan to see how these guys shoot. ;)

STORM 253- Tionesta Toby - you got it! :)

Howdy folks, I shoot a pair of 1851 Navy Conversions that I made myself, chambered for the .38 Long Colt cartridge.  Really love shooting these guns, lots of fun especially, when loaded with blackpowder.  Been shooting them for about 15 years now, they have never let me down.
Them I ain't hitting, I ain't aiming at!!!!

Howdy Pard's: I just ordered me a set of open top navy's in 38sp. Can hardly wait to shoot them. I shoot the old Navy's in 44 and 36. Is it recommended to shoot the black power cartridges in the open tops? And can I join this group?

Thanks

Not only is it recommended, I think it is actually a law. :) ;) :D ;D ::)

Major 2

Well it's not absolutely required or a law as it were... but it is just good manners  ;D
when planets align...do the deal !

Thanks for the information Pard's, Do you get the same smoke from the cartridges as you do in the regular black powder gun's?

Heck, as long as its free sign me up too.  I got me an 1872 Open Top in .44 special & shoot it with my Colt Dragoon with an R&D drop in in .45 LC, I guess the Dragoon's an open top too 'cause there sure ain't no, sorry, ain't any, top frame!  Am currently in the market for a small mule or large jackass to assist with luggin' the Dragoon around.

Howdy Pards and Pardettes.

Pards, I have a 5" Navy griped .44 Colt 1872 open top, and an 8" Army griped Richards repro, also in .44 Colt.  I plan to shoot .44 Russians in them, cause I allready shoot a pair of S&W Russian clones from Uberti.  Can I please join your outfit.

That is all I think I know.
