Howdy doo guys.

Any open top style Colt is/are my fav handguns. From the percussions up thur the '72's. That was the height of style on Colt revolvers in my opinion.

Well I acquired a sequentially numbered set of RM 1860 Armies in 44 special and love them.  I am currently loading 44 Russian BP and are getting used to them over my regular Vaquero 44's and Bisleys.

I just love the style and pointability.  If I can wring them out suffieciently for me, I'll bring them to Comin At'Cha.

I'd be a member if they'd take someone like me.  ;D

He needed a lot of baptizin' so I just held him under a little too long.  And your point is?

Great to find this group!

Have two 7 1/2"  early (Navy) ,38 OTs, and two 5 1/2" late (army) 45Colt for FC class (Have one 7 1/2 barrel, looking for another).

Also 2 5 1/2" Uberti 51 RM conversions in 38 - mostly smokeless classes.

Also have a couple pairs of Pietta 51s for Frontiersman.

I LOVE how these guns look and more importantly, point.  Been picking them up when I find a great deal - far prefer the Navy grip w/long barrels.

Sign Me UP, Please!

Thanks,
Harvey

Trooper Bill

I'm new to the CAS forums and I'm finding alot to like. I'd like to join this group too. I shoot many of the common Colt and repo cap and balls, in all of the original caliburs, and have finally gotten a 1872 open top in .44 Colt cal. I'm not a serious Cas competitor, but a b/p traditionalist that prefers to shoot period weapons in thier original caliburs and loadings.

HELLO
I hav been in sass for over 12 years now started with 58's with conversions then went to 75 outlaws in 45, but now I am using a pair of 72 Open top conversions in 38 sp with Army grips. All have shot BP 99 % of the time love the feel and the way they point for me more hits and less wrist problems.
So my I join this fine group of shooters   ???

Hello Gents (and Ladies),

I humbly request admission to this distinguished group.  I have been shooting open tops and conversions for several years now and greatly enjoy these lovely firearms.  Shooting and loading black powder cartridgesis my passion.  It is to my shame that I have not requested membership prior to now.

Many thanks to you all.

Well. Since I just got an open top 1851 Navy conversion I guess I had better join. If you guys will let me.  :)

I'll be showing it off at our NCOWS shoots and can't wait until my order of ammo arrives so I can use it.

Thanks for having a place to talk about our guns.

Might as well throw my hat in the ring, long as nobody shoots it!

I have acquired and been shooting a brace of 1860 Army's my last several matches. I fuigure the next step will be to get conversion cylinders for them so I can shoot them whatever my mood. I would like to join if possible.
If ya can't be fast it's good to be Lucky!
