Cap and Ball shooters are more than welcome.. heck that's the original Opentop fodder!

You'll be a Rider of the STORM, for sure..
Adios,

Thank you for being you.. Annie Lee!

Sir Charles deMouton-Black

I havn't found out the difference, if any, between a member of STORM and a RIDER of the STORM.  I have Cap & Ball Colt 1851, 1860 & 1862 Police  reproductions, as well as a pair of 1851 R-Ms.  I don't own or ride a horse anymore.

I'd sure like to join.  Have had an 1860 Army since I was a youngin'.  Just got my first conversion - an 1861 Navy conversion with ivory grips in 38 special.  Hopefully I will be able to find a match.

Thanks for your consideration.

HANCOCK

I would like to join, I started CAShooting with a pair of 72 Open Tops in 44 Colt (that I couldn't afford), and have since started shooting C&B 51's with the Crow River Rangers in Minnesota. I had to give up the OT's to my son, who shoots Frontier Cartridge. We still share the rifle , a 66  short rifle in 44 spl.  I have since opened the OT'S to 44 spl (anybody need to borrow, or buy a reamer?) so that the handgun, and rifle ammo could be the same, without trimming brass.
I have recently bought a Kirst kit to turn my 49 pocket, (baby doll), into a 32 S&W cartridge gun, and I think that a conversion , or 2 will be soon to follow.
My only claim to fame is that I once made Coyote Cap come right off his chair at the livery stable when I snuck my 3rd model Dragoon to a stage that had one of those "dump 5 as fast as you can at the BIG target" things.

Is there a special badge that a STORM member could buy?

Thanks

Well, I figure it is time for me to expand my CAS fun and join some groups.  Thought I would try to join STORM first seeing that my first cowboy gun is an 1851 Colt cap and ball revolver.  I still take her out and let her smoke.  How about it?

Black River Smith

I guess I should register myself in STORM.  So please add my name to the list of members

I use a blacksmith converted 1851, a full converted 1851 and a Cimm. 1872 Open Top(want a second some day).

Please add me to the STORM list. I have an original 1860 Richards 1st model and 5 assorted ASM clones that I shoot. Sorry to say, the clones aren't very close in any respect to the original, but they are still fun to shoot.

I have two Pietta 1862 Army/Police, 36 caliber revolvers converted to 38 Long Colt with R&D conversion cylinders that I am working up loads for right now and two Cimarron 1872 Open Tops in 44 caliber going through the Republik Of Kalifornia red tape registration process.  As soon as all are "Up And Running" I'll be able to add a variety to my shooting, along with my Navy Arms Wells Fargo Schofieds in 45 Colt.
