Howdy all,
I would like to join the STORM as well,  I carry a pair of Uberti open tops. A hefty 72 Army in 44 special with a 7 1/2" barrle, rides cross draw. And a not as hefty Navy also in 44 spicial, 5 1/2" barrle tucked in on the right hip. I have found both shooting irons accurate and reliable. I load/ jam the 44's with Pyrodex for that little extra grin factor.
Jimiah.

Big Hext & all: would you please change my alias # 229 on the Riders of the STORM - member list from Bootsie to Long Johns Wolf? Changed the alias as of today.

  Howdy,
I would like to join STORM too.  I have a couple of '51 conversions I really like to shoot with black powder loads.  I've been reading this forum a long time and decided its time to join up.
   Thanks,

I, too, would like to join STORM. I recently purchased a pair of RM 1851 conversions and they are sweet!!!

I'd like to join up, too.  I shoot a brace of 8-inch Navy-gripped 1860 R-M's in .44 Colt, and my backups are a brace of 7.5-inch 1851 R-M's in .38 Spl.

Ok, I suppose I'll throw my hat into the ring.  I've been  shooting Richard's and Richard-Mason's conversion 1860 Army in .44 Colt, 4.5" barrels.  Been shooting them for more than a year now.  I love them because they shoot where you point.

Frank Dalton

Join me up Mr. Moderator. I just got me a new Taylors/Uberti 1872 Open Top in .38 spl w/7-1/2" bbl that I am planning on using at the next match I go to.

I also have an old Pietta brass fram "Engraved" '51 Colt Navy that I used back in the old days, reenacting (early 90's, I was a member of the color guard). I always shot blanks out of it, but I have never shot live rounds.

Now I have an open top I feel comfortable shooting live rounds. Thanks to Mr. Rezac in Nebraska for being a great dealer!

Count me in!  I traded my 1860 Army Pietta in for a Traditions 1851 Navy Conversion in .38 Spl about a year ago.  I love shooting this gun and hope to someday trade off my Taurus Gaucho .38/357 for another .38 conversion.

Let me know if I am in and what number I am.

Thanks,

STORM seems to just fit my pistol.  I have been shooting various Colts over the years, but few of them in SASS.  A brace of Walkers, a couple of 1860's, an 1851, and a Baby Dragoon are current favorites.  I am pretty sure a 1849 pocket is under the tree!

I am trying to decide on a pair of factory conversions, a purchase of some Kirst or R&D conversions, or building a set of home grown.

One day I shoot a match in the Josie Wales catagory...2 Walkers, an 1860, a conversion and a converted 1849.  Heck with the rifle!   ;)
Ain't like the old days, but it'll do!

Sorry pards, that's my fault. I use to post a "Welcome" post when somebody joined STORM, and I got away from doing that. I'll get better at it, I promise! ;D

I finally horse traded into a brace of 1872 Open Tops in .45 Schofield.  I've also got a pair of 1851 converted with Kirst converters.  I'd really like to join this outfit.

Does it count iffen the revolvers are on order?  Received a call from the kind Ladies at Taylor and Co., informing me that a pair of 44 Colt 1871 C. Mason Revolvers with 5 1/2 inch barrels, which I had inquired about, were standing by with my name on them.
I have faxed them my local shop's FFL and eagerly await their arrival amidst the shipping availability of this holiday season.

Iffen all this be acceptable I would greatly appreciate being added to the rolls.

Thank ye kindly, Athena Jake Elder
