When I first saw a CAS event I was struck by the ability of a sport to bring me back to the days when a person was proud to make what they needed. I have always been a hands on guy with everything, so it was only fitting that I would make my own rig. It has been a trying time around the homestead and my wife has shushed me more times than I care to remember, but I have completed my first holster. It is not a completely traditional design, but what I think a cowboy could have made for himself when he needed to.

Please take a look and let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Ken

Howdy Kid,

Welcome to the Leather Shop.

That is one mighty fine Rig especially for a first attempt. Clean and neat! Any cowboy would be proud to wear it.

We look forward to seeing your future projects,
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Cheer up things could be worse, sure enough I cheered up and they got worse.

KK, what I think is "very good work." I like the design and decorative work. Well done.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Kid, it actually is funny how I got my name. At my last job I earned the nickname Kendoo unbeknownst to me, apparently because whenever something difficult or unpleasant had to be done I would end up doing it. I left after 15 years and I found out they all called me that behind my back, so I thought it fitting to incorporate it into my cowboy name. It is certainly the attitude I have always had.
