Is there a 220 voltage motor for it or just the 110? We have 220 in our wall's.
I just talked to a guy that import cars to Sweden from LA and the machine can ride in one of his containers. But I was surprised when I looked at the shipping from Steve to LA (42 minutes from Ontario) that will coast me $250 and a taxes for shipping in the state on $235.. That really sucks.. Gues I have to find some one that can pick up the machine for me and drive it to the harbor and I pay for the gas..

It is all negotiable.  I may have mentioned that I had it shipped to Ontario, meaning Ontario Canada, which is like 4 thousand miles, maybe.  I didn't pay that much more.  Push them a little, and don't be too quick to buy mention you are looking at other machines, which was certainly true for me and is always a good idea.

Red, the thread melter is a thing like a soldering iron that they offered to throw in.  It is used instead of burning threads which is something I do with nylon gear.

Looks like their prices have gone up a bit. They now offer a standard Class 4 package that is about the price I paid for mine.

Mine came with what they now call the premium package. Plus Steve through in some additional bobbins and extra presser foot and plate that I modified to do some of my knife sheaths.

I could use a flyrod like that, I already have a ton of the graphite ones!

I did all my negotiating by email, I was told that us canadians never left much meat on the bone, though that could be just the usual kindly chat.  It could be true since there are a lot of costs built into this kind of process if you are dealing outside the US.

I always figure they can afford to go pretty low.  The guys I know who are importers are paying 5-10 cents on the retail dollar.  There are many costs on top of that, but when I was in retail we were in the 50 to 80 percent margin area, not the 5-10.  Admitedly nobody had to go to a chinese factory to check each unit as it came off the line.

Boothill Bob

Yeah Marshal, to whip my self up with.
Massive. I have sent Steve 3 Emails and no awnser  :(
So I think I have to call him or chose an outer machine.

Bob,

You won't regret it.  The Juki 441 class clones are the greatest....it will require a short learning curve but you can handle that with no sweat...until you get to the bullet loop stage...hahahah you will pull out your beard on that one...only kidding..but do take your time with the loops and do alot of practicing...
