I don't remember anyone having a Chappy with the Italian 45-75 chamber, but mine does.  I had planed on doing load development for the 45-75 and posting it here like I did for the 45-60, but having the Italian chamber I am reluctant to do that.  Loads that are safe in the Italian chamber may be over pressure in the Winchester chamber.

How much more powder does the Italian 45-75 hold compared to the Winchester 45-75?

I haven't started load development yet and don't know if I'll post them here when I do.  What do you all think?

Silver rings,
I don't know about the 45-75, mbut I just want to say thanks a heap for the 45-60 data.  It has helped me considerably.

Howdy Dave,

Glad I could help out.  I had a lot of fun doing it.

Silver Rings:
I too have that size of chamber.  About the only difference that I notice is that instead of 75 grains of BP, I can stuff in 76 grains.  Other than that,  I have noticed no difference.  There alot of purists out there that had their rifle barrels change to emulate the original chambers.
When in doubt, mumble!

Larryo,

I like the extra powder capacity myself, should made it easy to use the 45-70 Trapdoor loads safely.
