Our club had it's last match of the year last Sunday.  It was a fun match so wasn't but a couple of stages but I was pleased with my loads.  I had a good bit of uunburned powder in the 45 Colt cases before.  But the C45S loads burned clean and fell out of the chambers for the most part. A few required a shake or flick of a fingernail.

The Cowboy 45 Special brass offers a dense loading of Holy Black under the projectile of your choice.  The efficiency of the volume easily allows high density BP charges with relatively light bullets.

I've not got into black powder (yet) for CAS.  <deleted content by moderator>  The same charge in Colt case didn't burn ckean or consistent.

I can tell I'll get drawn into the dark side before long.  Black powder is not new to me.  My first handgun was a Remington cap and ball.  I've always had muzzle loaders and have loaded black in 45/70 single shots.

Not shooting cowboy anymore but I love this brass and still shoot it. Loaded some today with the 150 big lube. All I have ever used in this brass! I will buy more when it becomes available again.  ;D
