Hoof Hearted

Ya know...............
These are just polished steel SO..............

We could blue them (of course I would also suggest sanding, polishing and reblueing the cylinders also to get rid of the "industrial" blue) they would look pretty good ;)
I actully kinda like the factory roll engraving on them!

This would keep you from looking like a copy cat to Slowhand Bob :-[

I got my '58' Remmy w/ Kirst conversion back from Hoof a few weeks ago after he did some internal work and I finally got a chance to shoot it this weekend.  It shoot great, at one point I put was able to put three consecutive shots thru the same hole at 15 yards(had to be the gun I can't shoot that well).

Thomas (Tom) Horn aka James Hicks

While waiting on Kirst Conversions ... I talked with HH about his "Hot Bluing".  I do my own action work on my cowboy guns. But have never ventured into the Hot Bluing.  I sent HH my Army 60's (Pietta's) after I had de-farbed them.  I am more than satisfied with HH's work.  Very professional and the 60's are really the cats eye. He polished the Kirst Cylinders and re-blued (Hot) and the two pistols are simply... beautiful. He is easy to work with and he will not feed you any BS when you have a project for him.  I could not be more pleased.
