I am branching out, going to participate in CW reenactments, I need an 1863 Springfield, or a 3 band Enfield.  Anyone have one available?

Thanks
Brian

I have the same question. I've been looking on ArmsList. There are a few there.

I have a 3 band Enfield made by Parker Hale.  It is an English made piece.  I am not actively trying to sell it, but I don't do the CW stuff anymore, so I might be persuaded.... :)
If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in English, thank a Veteran!

As you may know, that is the "Rolls-Royce" of reproduction Enfields .......  but you can't have mine, so maybe start sweet-talkin' Grizzly Adams .... :D

Doug! Doug! Doug! I just sold a replica 1863, 1861 and bartered a new P53 Enfield. Do you want me to find you one?

Please keep your eyes open. I have an original 3 band Enfield. I would like a Springfield though.

Gents:
One of my pards just got hit with nasty tax news. So, he is looking to sell his 1861 Springfield w/sling, bayonet, scabbard, waist belt, cap box, cartridge box w/sling & breastplate & box plate. I sold it to him years ago and if I remember corrrectly, it is an ArmiSport. I may have performed a basic defarb (remove Italian marking & refinish the wood to approximate walnut rather than the typical reddish Italian wood). The leathers were probably of decent quality, probably not of the absolute high end but good. He wants $700 for the whole pile which aint bad these days. The 150th cycle of reenactments is driving prices up in the preowned market. I just shipped a BP shotgun from Minn to Georgia, cost was just under $40. I suspect with increase of weight due to the leathers it could run anywhere from $50-$75. It will be a week or so before I can get it in hand to take pics. Let me know if you have interest since I have let the word out to a couple of lads in the unit. Make sure you can recieve BP firearm via USPS in your location.
I remain, respectfully,
