For your viewing pleasure:

There is a "Wesson Favorite" 44 DA up for bid on Gun Broker.  It looks like it is in very nice condition.

These are dang rare.  I only see one up for sale every few years.

It's auction # 329678676

(I have no connection to the auction.)

Dang, there's two to 'em. - neither in my price range.

Yup, that's a 44 Double Action Wesson Favorite. The telltale identifying feature is the groove cut into the frame under the cylinder. These were made to be extra light and had metal removed at certain places. There is a groove running down the barrel rib, so the markings have been put on the cylinder, rather than the top of the rib. The front of the cylinder has been slightly reduced in diameter too. Only produced in 44 Russian and only with a 5" barrel. Very rare, only about 1000 produced. So rare that the SCSW does not even attempt to estimate a value.

Here is another one.

That's bad business! How long do you think I'd stay in operation if it cost me money every time I pulled a job? If he'd pay me that much to stop robbing him, I'd stop robbing him.

Ya probably inherited every penny ya got!
