Today I called Eagle Grips and was told that they will not make grips for the Remington 75's or 90's. Rather disappointed. So I will now look elsewhere for some Stag grips. I have Sambar stag grips on my Colts, but got those 15 years ago when they were $80 a pair. I'm thinking Elk stag are the way to go. Any suggestions?

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

Thanks Peddler. I will check them out, see what they got.

Has anyone ever bought from this seller? http://www.sackpeterson.com/models/outlaw.html

Hi -

I used to get one or two orders a year for those, so I stopped doing them.  I'm completely pre-occupied with Ruger grips for the most part.

Does that mean you will not make them at all? I'm looking to get two sets.

I have had a number of sets from Patrick Grashorn's Gunworks.  You mail hime the frame and he will size them for any revolver.  His webpage is www.grashornsgunworks.com.  He is in WY.  His SASS alias is Executioner.  Good luck.

My gunsmith told me that Sambar stag is the best to use for grips because it is durable and hard.
He said that Elk horn and other non Sambar horn had a tendency to fuzz up after a certain amount of use being softer.
don't know if it can be treated to toughen it up.
