We got some bad news last week that Pam's breast cancer has come back after 8 years, it has mestastised into 5 spots in her back.
After several scary days we met with the cancer doctor and the outlook sounds pretty good. She has already started treatment.
After going to the last 11 conventions we won't be able to make it this year. She is positive and is calling it just a "bump" in the road
We will look forward to seeing you in the future and we'll share some buffalo chili made with her home canned tomatos (thats the
secret)

My prayers will be there for Pam.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

I have some good news to report about Pam. She is going through tomo therapy, its a new type of radiation that is very effective
on her type of tumors.  After 6 treatments she is doing much better, they say the tumors are shrinking and she has a lot
less pain. She was even able to go back to work for a half day today. She has 8 more radiation treatments and then a
monthly IV treatment.  Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!!!
