Dang!, I really get to feeling good when I work on something and it turns out to be more problems than you expected, but you finally get it done and it's Right! I just finished an action job on a Cimarron/Uberti Thunderer. That probably doesn't impress most of you guys, but I 'm an amateur kitchen table gun tinkerer and I reserve the right to brag a little. I got all of the creep out of the trigger. There wasn't a lot there to begin with, but it was enough to anoy me. After about fifty assembly/disassemblies and some real careful sear stone work it now breaks clean. The trigger pull ended up a tad lighter than I was planning on. I'm guessing it at just under two pounds. I think that I like it, but it may take some getting used to. The bolt spring put up a pretty good fight, but a couple of tries at increased bolt spring tension cured the lock up problems.

Sound's like you did a good job there Bugs...Two pound would be great after your used to it. I'll bet you can put that thing together with your eyes closed by now.......Dusty.

I wouldn't bet on that Dusty, but I have found the two secrets to getting it all back together correctly.
1. Put all of the screws and little parts in a little dish. Never put a part down on the workbench.
2. Have another gun just like the one you are taking apart handy to refer to when putting it all back together. Now I know why we all have so many guns.

Yep!  You figured it out.  Always have a sample example (that works 😜) handy.  You get to have more guns that way.  You may still have th sear angle a little off but without a jig it's hard to get it gust right.   8)

The trigger break on this pistol is so perfect that I don't care what the sear angle is. Zero creep is NONE AT ALL and that's good enough for me.
