EPS? Worth it?

Doing a little reading on the EPS. The new 4-25 comes with the EPS and a 25" arm for$3695.00. I also discovered that the EPS is available on all Cobra sewing machines.
Does anyone have one on their Cobra and can you give me an idea of operation. I read the about stopping up or down and corners and.........

Do you know whether they are standard on the 4s, in some package.  Last time I asked it was an upgrade, so you ended up with two motors, which was ok by me, though I probably would not go there if there was a cheaper way.

seems the main advantage other than going stitch by stitch, which is usually too slow for me, would be that the machine could be run from the foot, to at least a greater degree.  On the other hand, while I currently ride the wheel with one hand, I do get fluid stitching as it seems easier in some ways to allow the machine to pull the work through while steering with one hand.  When I have two hands free I tend to throttle the machine a little.  Still I assume one can go either way.  It also seems to mean the machine will not drop stitches from dead down, while the machine I have has to be precisely positioned to keep that from happening.  Not a lot of benefit for a small timer, but when getting an all new machine, I want to have all the bells and whistles.

Am I understanding you to say that the EPS allows very slow sewing? Plus someother things? Wouldn't the "fix" that Iran acrosssolve the problem. I understand the company is sending out the correct "gradiented" paper. The video, afet the fix, showed super slow motion sewing.
