Got a kick out of this "promo" video, taken at the Shot Show.  While our hero extolls the virtues of ZiP, keep an eye on the shooter just behind him. He doesn't seem to be experiencing the true "Future of Fun."

I'm still trying to figure out what it is supposed to be for?  Who would want a .22 rimfire hanging off the bottom of an AR-15?

Deadeye Don

Anybody note the potentially dangerous method of racking a round.  The shooters hand is right by the barrel.  LOSER gun that might just cause someone to lose a digit or two.

The hand in front of the muzzle when jacking a round really got my attention too.  This thing is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.  It makes me wonder who the idiots are that surround Mr. Connely.

Looks like a law suit waiting to happen . The shooter in the back ground having all the stoppages ,didn't look to be impressed with it . Looks like the Zip has lost it's Zip .

Forty Rod

Boy, that's one gun I'm gonna rush right out and not buy.  Besides, I don't buy ugly guns.

Q: How much should a person pay for a Jam-o-matic?

A: ZiP!

Doc Sunrise

I want mine to be in that pretty dirty looking pink color the master series was in.  I can then say I am carrying my wifes gun along with my AR-10.  Pretty handy being able to carry my wife's gun, but then again she'll probably stick with her Ruger.  More dependable you know.  By the way, does Zip pay anything to Ruger for using their patented rotary magazine?  I would think USFA learned from past mistakes on such things.

Billy Bristol

With it jamming that much maybe they will go back to making what they knew how to make. SAA

Got to see my first Zip yeaterday. >:(
Was going for $249. The dealer told me that he thought whoever made it was going to be sued by USFA for using they're logos. ;D I thought he was going to cry when I told him what was going on with USFA. Who woulda thunk such a miserable little piece of plastic could cause so much heartbreak. :'(

Yea, the cocking bar right up near the muzzle??????????????? I predict a bunch of people walking around missing the tip of thier index finger and the expression "getting your finger zipped" appearing. Even H&K were clever enough to put a gaurd on thier MP5K's to prevent "accidental surgery by firearm"......

Hickok

Man what a miserable piece of junk!

I agree that someone will have to shoot a finger off, or put a .22 bullet in their forehead while look down the barrel trying to clear a malfunction.

That's my take.  That racking a round is the wierdest unsafe thing I've ever seen in a gun.

There are a lot of other recent reviews of the Zip - YouTube has them everywhere.  There is not a single good review.  It is lights out.  How does a great forum continue ................
