Shot my first gunfighter class today/ da Holy Black. Wunderbar!

Thinkin Bout starting new class-- T-Rex, that that only used full power Black Powder loads.

Since I didn't know any better, and nobody asked, that's the way I've shot from the git go. I wish there would be a category for Holy Black Gunfighter. But, as you've discovered, the grin is easily prize enuf as it is.

Enjoy the black sash with stripe of purple.

Marshal Harpoluke,

I am a Frontier Cartridge Duelist shooter and just recently shot a match Gunfighter style. It was an incredible rush. I plan on doing it again. And I too hope SASS adopts this new category. Although I would prefer it as a stand alone category I see on the TG agenda they are talking about allowing Frontier Cartridge to be shot Gunfighter style. Baby steps, I guess.

Silas McFee 'n me shoot the same ammo and similar guns. He's faster and slicker of tounge and dresses much flashier. We both enjoy smokin' up stages, me GF and him FCD.

Rite after we finished up Fandanbo Silas went and loaned Jackson Bob a couple of cylinders full of his Holy Black 45 Colt cartridges. Hey, I think ol Bob is still grinnin'. He really liked the smoke, flames and BOOM.

Then Silas loaded up his ROA with the fine Kirst Konverter with five more of 'em 45 Colt BP warthog loads and a young lady that was shootn' photos got to give 'em a go. Her explatives were delightful. We may get a new shooter, BP of course.

We had lots of white smoke on our posse and by the time it was over I think the mouse phart shooters felt somewhat like the short bus croud.

I was the only Lady Gunfighter at the Southeastern Regional Blackpowder Championship, they lumped me in with the Lady FCD's but I didn't care, shot that entire match LGF and shot it clean.....well, maybe not clean, but NO MISSES!
I love shooting LGF, and even though I don't always shoot BP, I sure have fun and get lots of "Wooohooos" when I do!

I would but would have to replace My Colts, Winchester N Marlin. Ah shoot the Big 15 (aka 357) My 'Heavy Arlillery is an 10ga, N 45/70.

Can't afford to 'regun at this time. If not restrained by SASS rules the Big 15 has as much or more range than the 40+ calibers, n when Ah use (stelth mode on) Nitrocellulos loads (stelth mode off) the power factor is higher. Warhogs are great, espicialy A-10's, but Ah is a T-Rex.

There's no requirement for caliber, only that whatever caliber you shoot, you use full power loads! BP or smokeyless!

'Course, if you want to still consider yerself a T. Rex, well that's OK! I like your style! Just know that there's a place of honour on the Warthog Wall (list

) of Fame reserved for you!

And yes, the A10 may be the ultimate Warthog. They sure are Bad Medicine for them that cross us! I had the pleasure of watching them in action many times during my Army career and in the 1st Gulf War. (some in practice, sometimes for real) I've also been the unhappy object of their attention during Exercises!

Got to sit in lda cockpit of one during a air-show when Ah was in the Army in the early 70's. Would love to fly that baby.

If'n that be an Invite, I accept. When I inquired earler, I was informed the Warthogs were only for 40cal and above, but I guess that makes me a 'Pictcary'
