I have been working on this website for a few days. (THere was another thread which referenced this)
I am closing in on getting it done I still need to add some later period (SAW) uniform items but I am pretty happy with the results so far. I want to also add another column of information that spells out the details of each item. This will take a while but it should help with new recruits. I want to make sure we are pointing people to reliable sources.
Can anyone suggest additional makers of these uniform items?
Can anyone point me to additional picture that may be more useful?
Can anyone provide higher resolution/quality images of the ones I have?
Can anyone think of any field uniform items I may have left out (I know I still need to do the 1890s)

Where possible I will illustrate it with one of the following in order of preference.
1. Quartermaster drawings or Photos
2. Photos of surviving originals
3. Clear period photographs of the item being worn or used.
4. High quality reproduction.

Hopalong,

Excellent work, I can see I will be using this to get a new shirt shortly.  One minor problem I saw was the 1874 jacket you listed it as haveing a eternal pocket, which would be good for store a lot in, but perhaps you ment external pocket.  This is in no way takeing away from the excellent work you are doing, just a (hopefully) funny reminder that typos happen.

I only shoot to support my reloading habit.

I am still looking for feedback. I just added a middle column for detailed descriptions. Han anyone got any good sourced for these descriptions? The regs are pretty unwieldy.
