Does any one know where I can get Brass rivets and burrs? I found some on Ebay but want to compare price before I get them.

Thanks ten wolves, tried them I could not find them on their site.

Weaver leather sells them, they are around $16.00/lb. Not sure how many pieces that is.

David, nice to see you on the forum I am glad to hear you feel better. I will check Weaver .

Thanks again,

I get my rivets from Weaver also but as David said they sell by the pound so don't know if you can compare with them or not.

David, good to see you back on here.

Thanks Cliff. ON ebay they are being sold 50 for $18.00 I will check with Weaver and see what they think approx count is for a pound. I actually think weaver might be better.

I would think Weaver will be much better $. I have no idea how many is in a box...it depends on how long you need your shank to be (a shorter stem will mean many more rivets to the lb)...but there is a lot of rivets in a box.

One think to consider is the Pre-Domed (sp?)... More expensive, yes, but with the flat brass rivets you will get a bad head seem to show though when you dome them. (if you need to dome them)

I'm sure Weaver will be less $$$.

I generally buy the longer ones even though I know its a little more pricey per rivet but that way I don't have different lengths of each size to worry about keeping separate.

I usually just use copper, my brother uses a lot of brass ones so if I do need some brass ones I get them from him.

Here's another source for rivets. I use these guys for a lot of stuff. I usually get the order within 2 days.
