;D Been watching this for ages, thought it was time to join, and talk to all you great people
I'm in Australia, been shooten Cas since about 1985.  I'm 61, Shoot mostley 44/40 like the boom of the black stuff most of all.
List of Guns is
Ubertie Cattlemen 44/40 as they are closer to the real thing. Can't afford the real thing down here and very hard to get.
Ubertie Yellow Boy, 66, 24"", 44/40, Indian head on one side, eagle on other side of action, this is the best to shoot.
Rossie 92, 44/40.
Ruger 7 1/2 Stainless in 44 mag. Will be selling these to big, have small hands , Ubeties fit great.
Rossi Hammer Shooty.

As you can see from the above love 44/40.  The only problem with the Uberties, is getting parts, Like rocking horse poooo here ?. Trying at the moment to find parts over there, Looks like Numrich might be the go.
Just thought I through my 2cents worth in ;)

Better hop on my horse, and get out of here for now.
Kind Regards, To All,
John,
I suppose it's time to get on my horse and get outa here.

Welcome to the forum Rangerider. I'm sure you will find plenty of helpful people should you need any advice or just want to rag chew. Nice guns by the way. Nothing wrong with Uberti. I love them better than the Ruger Vaquero.

Odd that it is difficult for you to find parts in Australia. Do you suppose it might have something to do with the anti-gun sentiment there lately? Perhaps govt. idiots are trying to make getting any firearms or parts a problem.

I would suggest VTI Replica Gun Parts here in the states - VTIgunparts.com

They are very friendly people. Owned by a married couple I think. I get all my parts from them regularly, and they always answer the phone when I am ready to order. They have everything for Uberti and Pietta, although sometimes they run out of certain stock but will back order for you. Their shipping is extremley fast. They don't play around and get your order out quickly.

Well all right then Rangerider, welcome again to the forum. By the way, as you may know, there is a special section especially for Aussies and the Zeelanders, but your welcome anywhere.

G'day Down Under

::) Thanks for the welcome Fella's.
Gen.Jackson::: I doubt if it has much to do with anything anti-gun ?. "I've been known to be wrong before". We know the govenment are trying to make it harder to get Black Powder & Primers. ( no primers no shoot)   ???  The guys that import these are mostly shooters of one kind or another.  It's like trying to get blood out of a stone, when it comes to parts for em though.  May be they think they are that good they don't need parts ? More likely they are too slack to carry enough parts ???
As to parts tried both VTIG & Numrich, no joy. seems everyone over there are after the same parts. The sarga continues, anyway guy's till next time ;D

Better hop on my horse, and get out of here for now.

I think the factories in Italy are running full speed to produce guns that are in high demand on our side of the lake.
