A pard captured the action one day when I was making fire with my Henry. Thought I should post it.

Very nice DJ, the left glove gives a nice touch. Nothing like a Henry 60 44WCF belching lots of smoke.

At our Cowtown match Yesterday there were four of us shooting Frontiersman and two Frontiercartridge shooters on the Posse.

One stage had four rifle targets at 20 yards. The sequence of fire was two rounds on target one, three rounds on target two, two rounds on target three, & three rounds on target four.

Upon my turn to shoot the Air turned dead calm, I started the Rifle sequence with my Uberti 73 44WCF Carbine and had to do the BP dance thru the smoke to see the last two targets. What a Hoot !

I just love the sight of "Smoke and Sparks".

Good photos Driftwood and Hellgate.

Gives the feeling of why we shoot black powder.  Ever notice that with the CC and other publications they run a much higher percentage of bp shooters than heathen fad piff ting smokeyless fad shooters?  Percentage wise, there are less of us than them but we get the ink cuz we capture the Old West spirit better.  We're colorful.

I look like I do because of my high living, carousing with wicked wimmen, strong drink and cheating ways.  My guns are pure and burn only Holy Black and shoot Big Lube bullets.  They'll outlive me and probably my grand kids too.

Just look at the pure white Holy Smoke and cleansing flames. . .

You post make me laugh out loud. Reminded me of the country song where  the line is: "She thinks my tractor's sexy". I'm happy for you. Hope your wife agreed that she looked pretty good. Yeah, it really is a turn on. Guys just love it when their wife is a recreational companion (like in shooting, hunting, fishing, etc.). Lucky you!!!

I give ya a second to that one! I was tickled pink when my wife shot my Uberti Hombre and liked it, but it was a hell of a lot better when she shot that Pietta Schnieder & Glassick shorty and loved it!  She likes to watch me make smoke too. No wonder I divorced my ex wife and married her, lol!

She doesn't think she looks good and I'm not even sure she thinks I'm sexy either, and I know she doesn't find my tractor sexy because I have IH and Fords and she grew up on Deere's.

I do have a truck that turns her crank, I can just tell. We used to pull trucks, it's the smell of racing fuel and diesel smoke for her. I'm thinking she's going to come around to loving the BP smoke, just give her time.

I just finally talked her into coming shoot NCOWS this past summer. The other evening was the first time she had shot BP rounds, I wasn't sure how she would like it with the recoil but she didn't have a frown and she loaded it up a couple more times so she must have liked it
