Made progress on my Spencer today.

My parts arrived from S&S. It was very nice to get every part I was missing from a single source.

Aside from the barrel band and a couple of screws all the parts I got were originals. They all fit on the carbine with no modification. I was able to remove the two broken screws with a broken screw extractor and they came out like a dream. The threads were not buggered and the replacement screws went right. I am repairing the butt stock crack tonight and I hope to have the old girl back in one piece tomorrow or the next day.

Now that I have returned it to original condition I will see about converting it to center-fire. Since it all seems to be reversible I may ask Santa for the breech adaptor and the magazine tube follower.
