Hi, new to the forum. I have an Interarms Stainless Rossi in .357 that I've had for six years now, and I have done the steve gunz action job and have also have put in a new ejector spring. I did all these modifications when I first got the gun. The other day I was polishing the steel and when I went to cycle the bolt it got stuck about 1/4 through its travel. It was easy to close, so I thought maybe some polish got inside and gummed up the action. I took the gun apart and cleaned it out, but the problem was still there, probably every 15 cycles. I then thought maybe it was the lever/bolt pin hanging out too much or something, it wasn't. After I checked the pin and put it back together the hammer now sticks, like its binding against something between the first and second positions. I now think this is the main problem. Has this happened to anyone before? Any help would be much appreciated, I want to go shoot some more!

Messing with it some more the hammer is binding until just before the last position.

If the hammer pivot screw is over tightened it can cause the hammer to drag.

I messed with that too, but no change.
