Hi,

I got these taken by two different LHP  Friends at two separate occasisions ...

My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Major 2,

I blew up the sepia toned shot ... but my hair (or what is left of it) seemed non-existent on the sepia-toned shot ... other than that, I liked it a lot ...

Harley,

That is actually two hats ... the one with the frock coat I got from the local suttler; now out of business I will have to check with her ....

The other hat is an Indian Joe hat from CrazyCrow.com .... with a cheap hatband from the Village Hat Shop (we have one of their retail stores in Sackatomatoes ....)

LOL,where's my Sheriff office ;D
Bunch a ole scudders!

WaddWatsonEllis

Rick,

Actually, there was a kind of 'sheriff's office' ... the original Justice of the Peace's building had been moved to the park .. and in it were the last two extant jail cells from the Ship Lagrange ... one of the derelict vessels that had been turned into a prison ship ... and sank when the river rose so quickly that they didn't lengthen the mooring lines in time ... I have never heard a good number on the number of souls that went down with the ship ... I have heard every thing from there were no lives lost to 'many ...'
