GRAF and Sons is having a sale on GRAF and Scheutzen BP. $11.99  a 1lb if you buy a case.

This price is good for all Graf BP (Wano) and Scheutzen granulations.

Pretty good deal if you buy a case. I've never used it, how is the Graf powder?

That's pretty good powder , just need to treat the 2f like Goex 3f, as it's about the same kernel size. It does leave a hard grey fouling. But gives good velocity and accuracy.
Tried some 1f, but my rifle really hated the stuff.

Howdy Cliff, Graf's house brand is Scheutzen. That's what I've used mostly, depends on who has the best deal, Graf or Maine Powder House, have also bought some from Deer Creek. Scheutzen (Graf) burns much cleaner than Goex. I noticed that Graf now carries Scheutzen, so when they sell the rest of their house brand that may be the last we see of it, hope not. I plan to go ahead and get 50lbs while the price is right. Good Luck :)

Jefro - GRAFs switched to Wano sometime ago but use to repackage Scheutzen.

I have heard that Wano (german made) is as good as Scheutzen as they have also adopted the use of alder only charcoal for the powder making process.

I can still get Diamond Back cheaper up in Winchester, VA but the price of gas actually make this deal a bit better.  I may just buy a case myself....

They are usually higher than Powder Inc but the price is right now for sure.

Thanks PR, didn't know they had changed, I hadn't noticed the difference. The alder charcoal is great stuff, much better than Goex IMHO.

Maine Powder house usually has a good deal on 25lbs of Scheutzen when you include free shipping and hazmat. Have not checked Deer Creeks prices in a while, but they used to include the same deal for 25-50lbs. Good Luck :)

Give Powder Inc. a try, they have better pricing than Maine Powder on Scheutzen, Swiss, and Goex. Their prices also include shipping and haz mat for 25 lb orders.

Powder Inc. has also been donating the ammo for the NCOWS 45 colt championship shoots, another reason to support them.

Powder Incs prices are always delivered to your door.

Graf's home brand and Scheutzen are the exact same powder; made by WANO out of Germany. WANO got together with another manufacturer a number of years ago and started producing the, then, new powder and called it Scheutzen. If you want to keep fouling down and it is legal where you shoot, put 5 gr. of RL-7 in the case (over primer) before charging with Graf/Scheutzen.  RL-7 blows/burns the fouling out the full length of the barrel. Works great...shoots great.

Cliff Fendley

So both are the same powder but you can buy it in a Graf can for a dollar less a pound than in a Scheutzen can?

Cliff,  Yup, that's the way it goes. Kinda like some grocery products. Buy the Name Brand and pay more than the same stuff packaged in the Store Brand.  My Dad used to work for a cannery in Iowa and that is where I learned that little trick. The cheaper stuff sells more units at a cheaper price and actually makes more profit for the seller.
