Triple 7 in a brass frame Pietta

On another forum, I had some guys tell me the load of Trip 7 I was shooting in my Pietta brass frame was too high, and that I should notch it down to 17gr.  That made sense. But somebody else said you shouldn't use Trip 7 at all in a brass frame. My question is , if 15-17 grs of Trip 7 is equivalent to a larger safe load of b.p., what's the difference? As long as the pressure is the same, I think it should not reallly make a difference on which type of propellant. Is there some special reason that you can't use Trip 7 in a brasser? It's the only kind I've found at my local shop, and I've been using it for over 2 yrs on my steel frame, and this summer on my brass frame. I was appreciative of the information the other guys gave me on what constitutes a safe load for each pistol with the Trip 7, but I want to know if anyone else has heard that it is verboten to use it in a brass frame.
Thanks!
