A couple of firsts for my Spencer today...

... I shot my 56-50 in a CAS match today and finally broke 70 seconds on a standard 10/10/4 stage with a 69 and change, THEN broke my fresh new personal best with 68 and change a couple stages later. I shot six stages and had net scores of less than 100 seconds on all six.

There's something special about using the Spencer on a stage.  I remember the first time I used one.  For months after that at other matches I always had someone come up and mention how cool it was to see a stage shot with a Spencer.  No one remembers who won the match or each category for that shoot, but everyone remembers the Spencer.  Recently I've done entire matches with the Spencer.  Its a whole lot of fun seeing those plates knocked to hell and back when those 350gr bullets hit!

BTW - keep going - you'll break 60 soon enough.  I did for two stages a match ago a 10-10-4 59.99 and a 10-9-2 53.14.  Both stages were set up to where I could stage my reloads only a few inches from my right hand.
