I had to put down Trooper, ( half coyote and half english setter ), and two cats... Starlight and WillyPete.  Soon I'll have to do Teddy.  It's the only thing about owning pets that I don't like.  I sure miss my African gray parrot too.  (Gumby).

I had a half Rot and half Boxer for 14 years. The hardest day of my life is when I had to take her in to do the deed. Still hurts, great dog!

Here is Strega, She was my first Dog, a German Shepard I got her at 4 months old.
Loved to swim & play ball. Saved my Bacon once, I was jumped by a couple of Darker that Amber types.
She tore into them, and together we prevailed.
She was 14 in 1985, when her Hips (Hip displaceure) gave out @ 15 years common in Shepards.

I posted earlier on 4t thread .... China Red I reenacted with her 25 years , went to Fiddlers Green in 97.
And Rienzi my second Cavalry Mount lost her in 07 @ 28 years  , not as gentle as China but was very fleet and great heart.
And Major my last Mount also in 07 @ 11 years to freek accident ( kick in base of the skull by my daughters Horse ), Yea I give Honor to his memory with my handle.

Mighty fine Animal there Major,real fine,my nighbor has one that is a bueat also,i hear they are real loyal..

"ole" Squirtymus up there could sing along with my guitar,if it was my turn to sing he would stop,i would nod my head and he would start back,when the song ended,he would stop on que when i took my hand of the strings,he always like Hound Dog
