Does anybody who is coming have a video recorder that they could bring to record some of the shooting?

Looks like the roster for the weekend will be River City John, Dusty Tagalon, Ned Neiderlander, Kit Peak Kid, Hopalong Strong, Pony Express, Drydock, Corporal Chauffer, Delmonico and I. If you're planning on attending and I didn't mention your alias PM me.

The Commissary Dept is packed and ready to go as soon as the mess sergeant finishes his cup of coffee.  It travels slows and stops sometimes for breaks but it should arrive at Camp Pitspiter by early afternoon.  If anyone is coming up today we can figger something out for supper, I have to eat anyway.  Same for noon tomorrow.

Cheese steaks for those who need them in the evening.

Got enough beets to do the red flannel hash.  Sat Night is going to be a surprise dish that some non-locals may not reconize although the Central Europe dish goes by several names and it is popular under other names though out the region.

Me too.

Saw a car on the way home that reminded me of you - I'll post a picture when I get in front of a computer.

I will get an After Action Report filed soon, but need to get some other things done first. In the mean time I need to report that I found 2 granite cups, 2 WWII-Vietnam era mess kits and a set of similar age US cutlery utensils.

Also attendees voted to move the DoM Muster to the 3rd weekend of June (June 20-22 2014) next year, so mark your calendars.

Thanks to everyone who attended, but especially to Dusty Tagalon for the certificates, Hopalong Strong for video recording the match, Delmonico for the outstanding meals, and Ned Neiderlander for everything he did from help setting up to the traveling trophies. Also special thanks to the Broken Bow Lions Club for sponsoring the insurance.

I  believe the mess kits are mine, though one should be a 1918 Version.  (Date is on the handle) THink I got everything else!
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

Pitspitr

The cups are in the pickup so unless we drive the van I won't forget to bring them. (now remembering to drop them off might be a different story.

I didn't look for dates but yes they could be WWI also.

Did anybody find the stapler that we used for the long range match? I can't find it.

It was fun seeing all the old iron in action again.  If anyone should think a Lebel is slow, you need to see Pony Express in action.  That was impressive!
"There go those Nebraskans, and all hell couldn't stop them!"

Arrived home about 8:30 pm, after staying overnight(and most of the day) in KC.

On that last stage, I decided to use the Lebel as a single shot, instead of fully loading it on the clock at least 3 times, it did work out pretty well that way. But as a repeater, even fully loading the mag, Drydock would smoke me on a regular 10 shot stage. What really helped me on that one was, I got by without a pistol reload, which I am really slow at.
